The Fox Glacier Hotel, originally built in 1928, has recently been refurbished to retain its charming atmosphere. There are 49 guest rooms all featuring en suite bathrooms, direct dial telephone, colour television, refrigerator and electric blankets and 26 comfortable budget rooms, some with private facilities, and the others with share facilities. A guest laundry and fax / email service are available. Relax with a drink in the Guest Lounges or House Bar and sample the cuisine in Aggies Restaurant - specialising in local delicacies, with a New Zealand flavour, such as whitebait, salmon and venison.
