- THE REMARKABLES: Travel from Queenstown
following the shore line of Lake Wakatipu past the dramatic peaks of
this mountain range, snow capped in winter.
- TE ANAU: Pause for morning tea (own arrangements) in this
town know as the “Gateway to Fiordland”.
- MILFORD ROAD: Breathtaking scenery abounds as you
continue your journey. Gems of untouched natural beauty are
highlighted as your coach makes several stops along the way
(subject to weather) to capture the magnificence of the area.
- HOMER TUNNEL: Before descending into Milford Sound,
travel through this tunnel carved through the solid rock of a
mountain.
- CRUISE: Join your 11/2 hour cruise taking you past Mitre
Peak which rises from the ocean floor to its peak 1 mile above sea
level. View the lookout for dolphins, seals and penguins which
live in this wonderful location. Return to Queenstown by coach
arriving early evening. Optional return flight available at extra
cost weather permitting.
